This KZN south coast complex is well recognised on the Uvongo sea front for its beautiful well established gardens with swimming pool and braai areas. Just the place to relax while on holiday.
All amenities are within walking distance - shops, restaurants, bottle store, library and the local Saturday flea market. There are Chinese, Italian and seafood restaurants, pizza take-aways, busy shops and supermarkets in Uvongo village, and in Manaba. Self catering is made easy as the main shopping center is a 10 minute drive away in Shelley Beach, with over 75 shops under 1 roof - including Pick 'n Pay, Woolworths, The Hub and Clicks and six SterKinekor cinemas. The boulevard along the sea front is also ideal for joggers, walkers and cyclists. For the fishing enthusiast the favourite spots are the Uvongo Jetty, Orange Rocks, Beacon Rocks, Shad Bay and Manaba Beach.
Location:
Lanai (La Corsica) is situated on the sea front just 250m from the main swimming beach. Close to the beautiful Uvongo beach is the Uvongo River waterfall, tumbling 23m into the lagoon. Boats can be hired on the lagoon. A safe tidal and paddling pool is there for the kids. Teenagers can walk along the sea front into Margate where MTN provide daily beach activities during high season.
